Watch me Soar!
Upcycle projects are near to my heart! I have been thinking about and research mobiles, so it was a perfect opportunity to combine the two interests! I used security envelopes from my collection as well as hand painted upcycled papers to cover the elements of this mobile. Using a plastic base for the imagery proved to work better than I even imagined! A soaring Split Tail Kite visiting in the Spring never fails to stop me in my tracks. The arial acrobats and effortless gliding of the kite inspired this mobile featuring the sun and skies the kite has domain over.
