Bodacious Graffiti Heart Wallhanging

Fabric cut from a discarded umbrella inspired this heart-shaped wallhanging. The fabric is painted graffiti-style, stitched in the heart shape and stuffed with plastic bags for dimension. Fruit packing foam sheets became roses to adorn the piece. Plarn, which is "yarn" made from twisted plastic bags, is used for hanging. Further embellishment includes a tassel made using the umbrella label and fiber beads from denim scraps.
