We have 3 puppies so vases with artificial flowers had to go. I had bags of the flowers and didn't want to store them or throw them away, so I wanted a different way to display the flowers. The wig stands take up a lot of space so I had been trying to find a reason to keep them. Sirius XM was playing oldies and that song from the 60s about San Francisco and flowers in her hair came on and I thought, flowers AS her hair. I cut off all the stems and used a wooden kebab skewer to poke holes in the head and added the flowers one hole at a time until she had a full head of flower hair. I sprayed them with clear spray paint to keep the flowers from wilting into each other. After the hair was done I decided she needed a face so painted with acrylic and nail polish and then glued on the eyelashes. I pushed the LED light spike up into the bottom of the head and hot glued a CD onto the bottom to give it more stability and because it looks pretty when the light hits it. I accomplished my goals. I have used most of my flowers and a wig stand and have displayed flowers without a vase.
