Gabrielle Zuniga

Gabi Zuniga is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work explores the intersections of identity, culture, and community. With a background in branding, graphic design, and illustration, Gabi uses a variety of mediums—digital art, custom illustrations, and creative storytelling—to communicate nuanced experiences and emotions.

As a Black/Latina artist, Gabi is deeply inspired by themes of representation, connection, and resilience, often reflecting on the joys and challenges of navigating predominantly white spaces. Her work celebrates Black identity and calls to preserve the warmth and energy of community in an increasingly isolating world.

Beyond personal art, Gabi applies her creative expertise to help brands and organizations authentically communicate their missions, blending color psychology, design strategy, and cultural awareness. Whether crafting a visual identity or creating fine art, Gabi prioritizes storytelling that resonates deeply with diverse audiences.

Her recent work delves into the emotional complexities of code-switching, addressing the loneliness of leaving behind familiar spaces while highlighting the hope found in rebuilding community. Through her multidisciplinary practice, Gabi aims to inspire connection, foster dialogue, and celebrate the beauty of Black creativity.
